No blog is complete without a connection to its author. While I usually avoid speaking about myself, I find that context is essential for information to be useful. So for a reader to have context regarding my thought and work, I believe a bio to be essential. Summarizing my life and beliefs is a large task that I do not wish to undertake until I’m 90. I’ll shoot for some interesting cross-sections here that should provide adequate context for my writings.

I bounced through Physics, Psychology and Neuroscience before finishing up with a B.S. in Computer Science from UNC Wilmington. I have worked in the field of technology professionally since 1994, and have been playing with computers since I was seven years old (PC Jr baby!). I have worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies including GE where I spent three years creating enterprise software solutions to increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency, reduce costs, and increase worker productivity and enjoyment.
